The milk for our Clear Whey Isolate comes from pastured cows in the Alpine region, where the cows are kept on species-appropriate pastures and mainly eat pasture grass and hay. Using a gentle CFM manufacturing process, our native whey isolate is obtained directly from milk and not from whey, as is generally the case. This means that it is a pure whey protein isolate of the highest quality with hardly any fat or lactose content. Production takes place in Bavaria and Austria.

What is the difference between regular whey and clear whey isolate?
Our Clear Whey Isolate is characterized by its transparent, clear soft drink-like texture, which sets it apart from conventional whey protein shakes. It is prepared with water instead of milk or plant-based milk alternatives. It’s light and refreshing, perfect for those craving a light and digestible protein drink. It’s more similar to a lemonade or soft drink than a traditional creamy protein shake.
Why does Clear whey foam when prepared?
We are one of the few manufacturers to completely avoid artificial foam preventers. We surveyed our community about this and over 98% spoke out against a foam preventer. After shaking the drink in a shaker, wait a few minutes for the foam to disappear. For an absolute fresh kick, place the shaker immediately in the refrigerator for 20 minutes. Alternatively, you can also stir the powder directly into the water and do not shake.
Why do you use stevia?
Unlike normal whey protein isolate, Clear Whey has a slightly sour taste and it is essential to use a sweetener. We are the only manufacturer to avoid artificial foam preventers and conventional sweeteners such as sucralose or aspartame. As an alternative to conventional artificial sweeteners such as sucralose or aspartame, we only use stevio glycosides from stevia as natural sweetener. These are extracts from the stevia plant.
Is your Clear Whey lactose, gluten and soy free?
Yes, our protein powder is gluten and soy free, the lactose content is very low and is only 0.7 g per 100 g.
Is your whey cold processed (CFM)?
Yes, our Clear Whey Isolate is cold processed. But what does cold processing actually mean? Here the whey protein is obtained using cross-flow microfiltration (CFM). The processing process does not require any chemicals. Whey protein, which is processed using CFM, is therefore one of the purest and highest quality proteins. The CFM filtration process ensures that the whey has the highest possible proportion of essential amino acids. These are amino acids that the body needs but cannot generate itself.
