135 g | AlpenPower Organic Vegan Burger Patties |
200 ml | Water |
15 ml | Vegetable oil |
For the tomato sauce | |
800 g | Chopped tomatoes in a can |
1 | Leek |
2 | Garlic cloves |
1,5 tbsp | Tomato paste |
1/2 | Lemon |
2 tbsp | Soy sauce |
2 tbsp | Honey or date syrup |
2 tbsp | Coconut oil |
1 knife tip | Sambal Oelek |
Salt, pepper, paprika | |
Basil for decoration |

2Form balls of the vegan pattie mixture with moistened hands. Place them in a greased baking dish and bake for approx. 20 – 25 minutes at 190°C until crispy.

3Cut the leeks into rings and fry them in coconut oil. Add the pressed garlic cloves and some tomato paste and fry briefly.

4Deglaze with the chopped tomatoes and reduce to a simmer for about 15 minutes. Add lemon juice, honey or date syrup, soy sauce, sambal oelek and season well.

5While the tomato sauce is cooking, prepare the pasta on the side. Mix the pasta and sauce with the baked balls in the baking dish.
Ready
Enjoy with basil on top.
